Welcome to Elevé — A Dream Fifteen Years in the Making
For over fifteen years, Elevé has lived quietly in the background of my mind, a passion project I always knew I would bring to life when the time was right.
Between building my Pilates and Biokinetics businesses, raising my children, and navigating life’s many twists and turns, Elevé was often pushed to the back of the list. But like all dreams deeply rooted in purpose, it never disappeared, it waited patiently for me to be ready.
Elevé (meaning “to rise” in French ballet terminology) is more than just a name, it’s a philosophy. It represents growth, elevation, and the strength that comes from dedication, knowledge, and mindful movement.
As a former professional dancer, I know the incredible physical and emotional demands of the dance world. And as a Biokineticist and orthopaedic rehabilitation specialist, I’ve spent years studying movement, recovery, and performance from a scientific perspective. Elevé is where those two worlds come together, the art of dance and the science of movement.
Through Elevé, I’ve combined my experience as a dancer with my professional expertise to create a program that not only supports injury rehabilitation but focuses strongly on injury prevention. My goal is to help dancers build strong, resilient bodies that can sustain long and fulfilling careers.
This type of work is still largely lacking in South Africa and yet, it’s something our incredibly talented dancers deserve access to. They should have the opportunity to train in ways that enhance performance while protecting their bodies for the future.
That’s how Elevé was born, a space designed to bridge the gap between science and artistry, between training and wellbeing. Through carefully designed conditioning mini-courses and masterclasses, Elevé focuses on empowering dancers with the knowledge and tools to move better, feel stronger, and dance longer.
Whether you’re a pre-professional dancer, a seasoned performer, or a teacher guiding the next generation, Elevé is here to support you. Each course blends evidence-based training with an understanding of the dancer’s unique needs, from flexibility and turnout to strength, stability, and mindset.
This is more than a program; it’s a movement. It’s about redefining what it means to train as a dancer with intelligence, compassion, and longevity in mind.
So here it is, fifteen years later, Elevé finally takes centre stage.
And I couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with you.
Welcome to Elevé.
Let’s rise together.
